Hi, Jason Privett/Fokust here, currently living back lakeside in good old Kings beach, CA. I have been in the area off and on for about 5 or ten years now. I grew up in Alturas, CA. A little town way up in Modoc County, Ca. I started skating early then snowboarding around 94 at our local golf course, sled hill, and T-bar slope just up the mtn, then surfing in 96 and fell in love with them all and wanted to make it a big part of my life as I grew older. I moved to North Lake Tahoe in 1998 to pursue my dreams in being a part of the world I loved seeing in snowboard videos and magazines and have been doing so here ever since. I also skate often and surf as I'm allowed. I have always had a growing passion for art of many forms. I started drawing/writing Fokust on everything I had back in 98/99 and haven't stopped. I started doing my own t-shirt designs in 2001 and pursued to do the art for street clothing I was having printed and embroidered for a few years after that. I now do all of my own designing, printing, and stickers in house right up at gorgeous north Lake Tahoe. I love graphic design and arts of many different forms.
